We want every customer to be happy with ClipCast. If a paid plan isn't working for you, we'll give you a full refund inside the eligibility window described below — no extended questions, no retention-team gauntlet.
1. 14-day money-back guarantee
Any first-time purchase of a paid plan (Pro monthly, Pro yearly, Team monthly, Team yearly) is fully refundable within 14 calendar days of the purchase date. Just email info@clipcast.tech from the address on your account and say “refund please.” We will process it within 5 business days.
The 14-day window also applies to subsequent purchases if:
- The Service experienced a documented outage that prevented you from using your plan, or
- A billing error or duplicate charge occurred.
2. After the 14-day window
After 14 days, we generally do not issue refunds on monthly subscriptions. For yearly subscriptions we will, at our discretion, issue a pro-rated refund for the unused remaining months if you cancel for one of these reasons:
- A bug or service issue we could not fix within 30 days of you reporting it.
- A material adverse change to the plan's included features.
- Accidental double-billing.

3. Cancel anytime
Cancelling a subscription is always free and immediate. From your billing page, click Manage subscription and choose “Cancel.” Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; you keep paid features until then.
4. What happens to my content after a refund
A refund downgrades your account to the Free tier immediately. Your content is preserved but subject to Free-tier limits:
- Recordings over 5 minutes remain accessible for 30 days, then enter a 7-day deletion warning.
- Storage over 2 GB enters the same warning workflow.
- You can download all of your content anytime from the dashboard before deletion.
5. Disputes and chargebacks
Please contact us before filing a chargeback. Most disputes are resolved within 24 hours via email. Chargebacks bypass our team and incur fees that ultimately reduce our ability to keep prices low for everyone.
6. How refunds are paid
Refunds are processed by Paddle.com Market Ltd, our Merchant of Record. The refund goes back to the original payment method (card, PayPal, etc.) and typically clears within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank. Currency conversion fees from your bank, if any, are non-refundable.
7. Sales tax / VAT
Where applicable, sales tax / VAT included in your original charge is refunded along with the principal.
8. Free tier
The Free tier is free of charge; nothing to refund.
