Screen recordings, shareable in one click
ClipCast records any tab, window, or screen — with your camera and mic — then hands you a polished share link the moment you stop. Transcripts, chapters, comments, and analytics are built in. Free forever; Pro is $5/mo with a 14-day free trial.
Records anything in your browser — works on every site you already use
More than a recorder
From the moment you hit record to the moment someone watches — ClipCast handles the whole loop.
Record anything
Tab, window, or full screen — plus your camera bubble and mic. Click highlights and chapter markers keep it watchable.
Instant share links
Stop recording and the link is ready — a clean, fast player anyone can open. No accounts required to watch.
AI transcript & summary
Every Pro clip is transcribed and summarized automatically — searchable, with clickable timestamps.
Upload existing videos
Already have an MP4 or WebM? Drop it into your library and get the same shareable player, transcript, and analytics. Pro & Team.
Lock it down
Password-protect links, set expiry dates, capture viewer emails, and remove the watermark — all on Pro.
Know who watched
View counts, watch-through, and timestamped comments and reactions — so a recording becomes a conversation.
Made for the way you actually work
Anywhere you’d type a long message or book another call — send a clip instead.
Design & code review
Point at the exact thing on screen. Feedback lands far clearer than a wall of comments.
Onboarding & how-tos
Record once, share the link forever. The docs your team will actually watch.

Questions, answered
Is ClipCast really free?+
Yes — the Free plan is free forever: unlimited share links, 5-minute recordings, 720p, and 200 MB of storage. Pro ($5/mo) unlocks 2-hour recordings, 1080p + source quality, no watermark, AI transcripts, video uploads, and privacy controls.
Do I need to install anything?+
Recording happens in a lightweight Chrome extension that lives in your toolbar — one click to install. This website is your library: where clips are organized, shared, and analyzed.
Can I upload videos I already have?+
Yes. On Pro and Team you can upload existing MP4 or WebM files (up to 2 GB) straight into your library and get the same player, transcript, and analytics as a recording.
Where are my recordings stored, and who can see them?+
Every clip lives in your private cloud library. Sharing is opt-in per link — and on Pro you can password-protect links, set expiry dates, and see exactly who watched.
How is it different from Loom?+
Same one-click recording and instant links — but Pro is $5 instead of $12.50, and the features people actually want (transcripts, password links, analytics, uploads) are at Pro, not gated behind a pricier Business tier.
Can I cancel anytime?+
Yes. Plans are month-to-month (annual saves 20%), cancel in two clicks, and your clips stay accessible on the Free plan.
Stop typing it out. Just show them.
Record your first clip in under a minute. Free forever — upgrade only when ClipCast is saving you time.
Your recordings stay private until you share them
